  1. GLOW Your Mind 5K Run/Walk

    July 8, 2017, 6:30 PM - 9:30 PM

    This event is being hosted by The Community Alliance for Suicide Prevention, Chautauqua Tapestry, and Chautauqua County Department of Mental Hygiene to help raise awareness of the importance that mental and physical wellness play in everyone's life. All proceeds raised by the event will stay local and be used for suicide prevention efforts in Chautauqua County. The race will begin in front of the Northwest Arena and will follow a mapped out route through Jamestown. Timing and race management will be provided by Chautauqua Striders. Awards will be given to the top overall males and females in each age group. Following the race, there will also be an After Glow party outside the arena on Lafayette Street.   1. Senior Farmer's Market Coupon Distribution

    July 8, 2017, 9:00 AM - 2:00 PM

    In order to qualify for the program, seniors age 60+ must meet the following criteria: monthly income of at or below $1,860, for a single person household; monthly income of at or below $2,504, for a two person household; or monthly income of at or below $ 3,149, for a three person household. Seniors who wish to apply need to come in person and be prepared to show proof of age. Coupon books are worth $20 with five coupons worth $4 each in each booklet. Coupons are only accepted at designated Farmer’s Markets, a list of participating markets with locations and times for these markets will be dispersed with the coupons. Seniors must come in person to pick up coupons unless a Power of Attorney form is presented.
